Neo3DT is a fashion and jewellery concept that aims to transcend traditional practice by using Circular and 3D Design with zero-waste and smart materials to create eye-catching artisan artefacts and statement pieces.
Neo3DT founder, Nat Stratos is a trans-disciplinary design practitioner passionate about designing circular value-led artefacts. Nat’s ethos is to design for regeneration rather than extraction, therefore, uses biodegradable and upcycled materials and zero-waste 3D design and printing to manifest circular artefacts with and afterlife.
Nat is a Mum, Design Practitioner, Sustainability Activist, and Master of Design Futures student at RMIT whose area of research trajectory is 3D and circular design, and product stewardship to address the challenges of the fashion system, explore new fashion economies, and create ‘interventions’ towards systems-level change and sustainable fashion futures.
As we experience a health and climate crisis, we have to rethink, rebuild and regenerate sustainable economic and cultural fashion and textile systems towards creating a future in which the fashion & textiles industry honors equality for all involved in its practice that minimises the environmental impact on the planet and its finite resources.
I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I work, create, and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water, and community. I pay respect to Ancestors and Elders past, present, and emerging.
